The band is moisture resistant and covered with a protective coating, but isn't fully water resistant.
We recommended when you swim or do some water activity to not use the band or changed it with a rubber one if you have. This band is sweat and moisture resistant but, you have to take some care of it time-to-time so it doesn't get very dirty.
Cleaning can be done with a slightly moistened cloth and then just air dry. Usually a good time to do so would be at night when you go to bed.
Don't use sprays/liquids that are alcohol based or chemicals because they may cause discoloration. Just regular water and a cloth, then air dry.
